What’s the difference between tape-in and weft extensions?
Tape-ins are perfect for quick, invisible application with minimal damage — ideal for fine to medium hair.
Wefts are sewn or beaded in for a fuller, long-term glam look — perfect for thicker hair or professional installs.
How long does the hair last?
With proper care, KAÏYA hair can last 12 months or longer. Our strands are high quality and can be reinstalled multiple times.
Can I dye or tone the extensions?
Yes, but we recommend only using a professional stylist. Our hair arrives pre-toned and ready to wear, so minimal processing is best to preserve softness and strength.
How do I care for my extensions?
We suggest:
- Sulfate-free, hydrating shampoo & conditioner
- Gentle brushing from ends upward
- Sleeping in a loose braid
- Heat protection always 👑

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
